Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a pattern, and now it is time for you to post until the patterned cows come home.

I was hoping that today would be a day of doing nothing, but nothing doing.  I've got a union board meeting to go to.  I don't think it'll last too long, so that's good.

One weather site reports FOUR degrees.  Another reports NINE degrees.

So who should I believe?  I ask you!

I hope vixmom can post the other picture today.

Maybe I'll take one or two later.  I haven't done that in a long time.

For now, I'm just basking in the recliner with my first cup of coffee.  I am not ready to bundle up and brave the outdoors yet.

The neighbor plowed the driveway last night but there's plenty of edge cleanup and other work to be done with the snowblower this morning.  I'm not looking forward to rushing into that.

Crazy dreams, man, all week, most on familiar themes.  This morning's covered overnight stays in movie theaters and doughnuts.  Yesterday's were doozies, covering odd preparations for a musical -- first in an office, then at a summer vacation type of place with people I haven't seen in thirty years.  Earlier in the week, discovering huge southwestern mountain landscapes around the corner from where I was living or working.  Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Thanks, JohnG, for the Bing Crosby report!

Got this six-movie box set of early Bing for Christmas. Looking forward to getting into the rest of it. One of the movies, Mississippi, has a Rodgers and Hart score.

I was up early, but it was chilly, I was feeling lazy, and I went back to bed at 7:30, listening to the sounds of shovels scraping the concrete.

I had some dream about visiting Stephen Sondheim, a shrimp buffet, a bowl of piranhas, and some event in something like an airplane hanger or warehouse.

Back to midtown in another hour.  I hope I do not have to wait too long for a bus.

Here's the other photo from my smackerel with Kathy and John yesterday.  In the early 1980s John worked for my dad's company while he was finishing school.

Kathy says she will see if she has any photos from The Apple Tree of 1978.  I hope so, since i have only one.  Even the ever-reliable DR Ginny failed me on this one!

Sunday morning greetings!  Today is my last day of lying low, so I'm home while the rest of the household attends church.
