Joshie is crying the saddest, most pitiful cry. He sounds like he is in terrible pain.
He is sitting by and pawing at the "Greenies" bag.  He loves his Greenies.

He's been doing this since Christmas.

Aww, poor guy :)

Like from Arizona.

I think we need a second home in Arizona and become snow birds.

Home from the conference opener. It was a showcase for the Girl Scouts. Cocktails were paired with cookies. Got to try the new S'mores. Nice. Very sweet.

Watching the 1956 Peter Pan broadcast with Mary Martin. It may not be in color but it's wonderful stuff.

Have done nine-and-a-half pages, so I'll take a hot shower shortly and do the other page and a half after that.  Hoping to finish the chapter I'm on.

That is a new way to sell cookies.

Starting the 1955 broadcast of Peter Pan, which is on the same Blu and Ray. The quality may be a little less than the 1956 but, in the first scene at least, some of the closeups and camera shots are actually better and a little more interesting.

There's nothing like Mary Martin in either version.

I've been listening to a reading of Plutarch's Lives, which is going on forever (I think it's 66 discs total). I'm almost through with the first half and think I'll wait on part two.

Anyway, the reader is British and he keeps pronouncing the name of Syracuse as Sigh-rah-cuse. Makes me wonder what the British version of The Boys of Syracuse would be like. Would the song become "Dire Old Sigh-rah-cuse"?

Wow the Vixter should have tried that in her Girl Scout days

Our little 7 year old friend is selling  Girl Scouts cookies for the first time.  She has a website to order them on.  A minimum of 4 boxes is needed to ship them.  It brought to mind when we purchased them from the Vixter 🌝

Finished the page and a half pre-shower, then showered, got a great idea that will work beautifully towards the end of the book, and two other ideas for the section I was in - so I wrote all that down, then just did another page and a half for a total of twelve and a half pages - so I'm ahead for tomorrow, which is lovely.

That's great, BK!  Can't wait to find out what it's all about.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Well, I must be off.  It's time for me to head to the ball!  The Governor's Inaugural Ball, that is.  I hope I can find a parking space easily!

Be back later!

Well, working coat check was fun.  We were in tents in front of the capitol building, but there were heaters pumping in warm air, so we were not cold at all.  There was a monitor across the aisle from where we were, showing what was happening in the big party area, and we got to wander around (and partake of) the foodstuffs when our shift was over.

Working was pretty easy, just taking the coats, scarves, and some bags, but no purses, giving the people the numbers, and hanging up the coats.  We chatted and people-watched and had a good time.
