And now, I must be off.  I have to shower and get dressed, remove the recycling from my trunk (it's been there for too long), put the recumbent bike into my trunk, then go to my parents' for family frivolity.

Have a good day, all!

From your trunk?  You don't have a bin at your building?

The recyclables are mostly from The Midnight Sun, TAO's performance space.  We have two blue tubs so one can be left at the space while I take the other one and put the recyclables in the bins at my condo complex.  I usually get home late at night, so I don't want to try and sort out non-recyclables in the dark, which means I don't always empty it quickly...but there are two bins, so it's not a great rush.

Tonight, I went to my parents' for our weeky family dinner, which we usually do on Friday, but for some reason we didn't this week.  My mom made omelettes and they were good.

After dinner, we played Phase 10 (I didn't win), then I assembled my mom's new recumbent excercise bike.  It wasn't too difficult to assemble.  And now, I'm home.

I just had a couple of long days at work...otherwise, I'm feeling fine.

June this year will be 29 years...only 16 more to go!

I do believe I have just finished a book.  There were two options as to how many pages it would be (just a little superstitious thing I sometimes do) - it turned out to be the slightly shorter option (just a seven page difference).  It feels like a good length to me and should come out around 200 real book pages.  So, I actually wrote thirteen pages in two-and-a-half hours.  I'm sure I'll be futzing and finessing aplenty and perhaps adding a thing or two, but if whatever I add sends it over the current page then I have to add the seven pages to get to the second option for how many pages the book is.  It's over 50,000 words and it may be the fastest book I've written, although I'm not sure about that.  But a day shy of three weeks.

Congrats, BK!

I think this photo from Denver is my favorite photo from today's women's marches.

I wish I could just tell you all all about it - believe me, that's the hardest part of this, not to be able to share even the title, but we all know about the prying eyes.

We shall all have to wait patiently until it's officially announced.

I'm betting it is the long-awaited biography of Millard Filmore.

Although 200 pages seems a bit long for Millard's bio.

It appears our rehearsal is, also, now a potluck.  I guess I will be bringing KFC.

I was thinking maybe the unauthorized autobiographies of Meltz and Ernest.
