The hatches are battened down for this storm.

We're supposed to get wind and rain from it, and -- THANKFULLY -- no snow, which is a miracle for a nor'easter in the last week in January.

Best wishes on the project, Elmore.

I hope I like it.  It's a children's show about pirates. I wonder if I can find an accordion player.

Back from a really fun lunch and then picking up the spiral-bound copies of the new book for Muse Margaret and me, and then no packages.

If I'd been here earlier I'd have told RonPulliam to cough. A lot.

Or get a note from his doctor to excuse him.

Today, the MD for a show I orchestrated in 2002 for the New York State Theatre Institute asked me to score a show he's doing for NYMF this summer.  I like the premise, and it sounds funny, so I look forward to seeing the score and reading the script before I say yes.

That's great, Larry!  Hopefully, it'll be to your liking...and to your bank account's liking. :)

"Muse Margaret and Me"...that sounds like the title of a book that needs to be written!

They had some 90 people in the jury pool.  A group of 60 was called, and I was not among them.

It's based on these children's books:

And I am home form Rob's birthday celebration.  there were seven of us, and it was a festive group.  I love the food at Cafe Frida, ad I am quite tipsy from two margaritas.

I'll listen as soon as I finish watching Five Graves to Cairo, a fun and tense Billy Wilder anti-Nazi film.

I'm glad I got an autographed copy of Kay Cole's CD. Here's an image of the booklet in the jewel case. The staples didn't quite make it to the fold:
