I've never seen that before.  And this isn't page five, it's page FOUR.  REALLY?

And I am home form Rob's birthday celebration.  there were seven of us, and it was a festive group.  I love the food at Cafe Frida, ad I am quite tipsy from two margaritas.

That sounds like fun.

I'm glad I got an autographed copy of Kay Cole's CD. Here's an image of the booklet in the jewel case. The staples didn't quite make it to the fold:

And on that note (A-natural), I'm leaving work.  I've been here too long and I want to get outta here...so I will.

Be back later.

Finished with my viewing and shall now go out and get a snack of some sort, hopefully not a big one.  Had I not had a Cobb Salad and a bagel earlier I might actually go start proofing the book over soup and a sandwich, but I think I'll just get some prosciutto and melon which will be far less calories and which fills me up nicely - and I'll finish the commentary and get that out of the day.

Between the treadmill, recumbent bike, and a beautiful afternoon walk I went about 10 miles today.

We saw LA LA LAND yesterday.  I tried doing  a search to see what comments had been made.  Even putting the title into quotes did not stop the word "land" from showing me every single KRITZERLAND ;D

I can tell you my comments.  "Eh."  This year's "it" film.  If I want to watch a Jacques Demy film I'll watch a Jacques Demy film.  It was certainly well done, but I cared not a whit about any of the characters.

That's one more thing out of the way.  I really want to concentrate on proofing, which I'll start tomorrow at noon o'clock.  I'm hoping to get through two or three chapters tomorrow, maybe four, and that way I can finish it by tomorrow evening and get it to the real proofers.

I cared more about the characters but agree with your "Eh".  We walked out commenting it wasn't Umbrellas.

From DR TCB:

We would have to win the state competition first.  Flying would probably be easier, but I imagine we would drive.

No wonder I didn't realize you were going to Idaho as you need to stay in Washington first, then you will go to Idaho.

Where in Washington is the competition?

The competition will be held in Tacoma at the Tacoma Musical Playhouse.
