Oh, yes. It scared me to death in 1960, or whenever it was first broadcast, and it still does. There was a series on NBC around the same time as THRILLER called "Great Ghost Stories," which I wish would turned up on DVD. Its adaptation of Blackwood's "The Wendigo" terrfied me, and the memory of that broadcast still creeps me out.

I finished scoring the verse to "Let's Fly Away," and I'm on to the second refrain/ As I worked I listened to the June 11, 1960 BBC broadcast of the premiere of Britten's opera A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was quite wonderful, and now I'm listening to Juan Diego Florez and Pavarotti sing Italian popular songs.

Yes, I ignored a lot of the messages on IMDB....but there were some that were interesting and informative. Now we have none.....at least as of 2/20.

Well, today is going to be a day. I have to shower and shave and get dressed, then I need to mail a rent check for Theater Artists Olympia, then possibly (finally) get my hairs cut. I was planning on getting a hair cut back in October, but I was cast in "The Physician In Spite of Himself" and was specifically told not to get my hair cut.

Then, I was going to get it cut when the show ended in December, but they decided to add one performance in January, so I wouldn't be able to get it cut until after that. Then, when that performance happened, I got the cold that lingered and when I went to my barber, there was a sign that said if you're even barely sick, don't even think about coming in.

A couple of years ago, he had cancer and went through treatment and needed to be kept away from sick people. I assume that he's going through another treatment, so I didn't want to chance that. Now, I feel recovered enough to go and let him cut my hair...assuming that his shop is open, but it usually is on Saturdays. We'll see.

Anyway, the big event tonight is that I'm ushering for a performance by Rufus Wainwright as a fund raiser for Pizza Klatch:

DR GEORGE have you ever tried SportClips? I think they are a national chain. A couple of my brothers go there. They like it better than Great Clips....you can check in on line, etc.
