Hi everyone -  finally got a chance to make a report.  Both dogs have been sick for the past few days.  Leo (10mos) got a bottle of Advil the other night and consumed quite a few tablets and has been in the hospital since Thursday night.  Ben has been dealing with some intestinal stuff, started before the "drug bust" hit on Thursday night, and we're pretty sure he ate some also, but not as much as Leo.  So, I've been nursing Ben back to health.

Please keep us in your thoughts!

Vibes for Ben and Leo!

Watching a camp classic. Dead Ringer with Bette Davis as twin sisters. One kills the other and takes on her identity. Karl Malden and Peter Lawford are part of the fun. Silly, but it's kind of fascinating.

Good evening.

I got good reviews at church this morning for my very expressive reading of a children's story.

Well done, you!!

Since I spent the day binge watching The Crown. This seems an appropriate way to end the day

It looks promising but also depressing when we thought about all the good times we spent out there. None of plans to tell Mickey what's happening.

Not telling is kind of you.  I finally had to tell neighbors to stop telling us about the changes in the homes we left behind-too upsetting.

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Japanese Internment camps we saw Allegiance today. http://allegiancemusical.com/#gd3lHhbulARPuK6z.97

Did anyone see it on Broadway?  I would have preferred that, especially the break in the show that caused us to miss something important and left us confused.

George, the library got something fun that I just picked up. It's a Rhino collection of "The Very Best of the Manhattan Transfer." Obviously no new recordings, but it's highly enjoyable.

What do mean by a break in the show?

It was upsetting for us. I can just imagine how it would be for her, especially since she's having regrets about leaving.

It stopped and a message said that portion was lost to us, not in those words.  Remember when the old reels would break and interrupt the movie?  It was a jarring interruption as those were, only no one fixed it or went back.  Since this was shown in theaters across the country today we believe it happened at all the theaters.  Hmmm, I should google that.

Understood. I thought that might be what you were talking about. Did they refund your money?

Found a recipe today for something called Russian potatoes.

Take a baked potato and set it on lettuce. Cut the potato open and pour in vodka, mixing it up with the potato inside. "Pile 1 heaping tablespoon caviar, preferably Beluga, on top" of the potato. Sour cream can be added.

I'm ready.

I saw it on Broadway I quite enjoyed it.  I was especially interested as I had had the opportunity to hear George Takei speak about the internment camps several years ago
