Jack, please let me know which sort of brace you purchased and how well you like it. My doctor submitted a referral for me for a brace last SEPTEMBER and I'm still waiting. He's submitted it three times now. It hasn't been denied, just caught up in a very dysfunctional bureaucracy. Aren't HMOs wonderful?

Incrediwear makes a back brace I'd like to try, but it's $75 and not returnable. UCLA has trained staff for fitting braces, but think how much money they save by their ineptitude!

I wasn't the only one that liked them. I had to guard them at BBQ parties because people couldn't tell, looking or tasting, that they were not meat.

Well, that was easy.

I got to the medical office, got checked in, and it all happened fairly quickly. I fell asleep pretty quickly after they sedated me. Fortunately, they didn't find any polyps. There were a couple of other minor issues, but nothing serious. Margo and I went to Shari's afterward and even after eating right after the procedure, I'm feeling completely fine. WHEW!
