Sounds good except if green peppers were included.  In fact your entire weekend sounds very nice.

Vixdad also had several of his Ben Bova books signed and we were able to attend three talks, and a Q and A with Mr Bova.

I have not read any of his books.  Have you?

I'm always pleased when Vixmom is able to take some time off, and even more so when she's able to go someplace fun.

Instead of  an English  muffin and Canadian bacon there was a patty made of quinoa with roasted kale,the poached eggs sets top by the traditional hollandaise untarnished with ill whole pink peppercorns

The peppercorns were ill? How could you tell?

Just ushered for the tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Euan Morton in the title role. He was excellent and the audience, on the smallish size, was ecstatic.

I also remember him from Sondheim on Sondheim and both versions of Taboo.

Had brunch earlier with friends. Had a wonderful but weird version of chicken and waffles. The buttermilk fried chicken was only lightly fried but the meat was moist and tender. The waffles were actually mac and cheese crisped up in a waffle maker. The waffles were topped with a spicy syrup, so you got the requisite sweet and hot that better versions of the dish have.

Jane, I did remember how much I hated the remake, but sometimes time is kind to films and they somehow age better - that's happened several times - this was not one of them.

The set for Hedwig was the supposedly leftover set of "Hurt Locker: The Musical," a 6 hour 4 minute production from Tony Kushner, among others. There was a fake Playbill and about 300 were spread around the theater. It was a hoot. The stars were Bobby Canavale, Taye Diggs and Michael Cerveris, all sort of apologizing for being in the show in their bios. In the list of other shows playing, there was one called Hamilton! that was about skater Scott Hamilton. There was also Container Store: The Musical.
