I'm partial to the 1920s-1930s horror-mystery plays:
The Cat and the Canary
The Bat
The Gorilla
The Ghost Train
The Thirteenth Guest

I've decided to go ahead and book the flight.  I can always postpone it if I need to, and I do hope that is not the case.

Saturday morning afternoon greetings!  Things are pretty quiet in our household this weekend.  Fr. Richard was supposed to conduct a 5pm service in Dayton today, but notified the bishop on Thursday that he should find a substitute for the substitute.

After having our windows open earlier in the week and wondering yesterday if we'd need to turn on the air conditioning, this morning I turned the heat back on.

Here I am rambling away to myself.  I guess George must have gone to bed.

Nope.  I was talking on the phone to my friend Margo who has been in the hospital since yesterday because of a gall bladder atrack!  She's doing well for now, but sometime today it'll be taken out. :-\

Feel better vibes!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Vibes to DR George's friend Margo!  We're wondering if Richard's problem doesn't involve his gall bladder...

Dinner was underwhelming.   I would rather have returned to either the hotel restaurant or the one overlooking  the rocks.  There was a beautiful sunny set tonight as we were walking back to the hotel.

Back from bacon and eggs and fruit, then a trip to the Iliad Bookstore - haven't been there in a couple of years.  They had quite a few of my books - the two memoirs, the Kritzer books, Writer's Block, Rewind, and the short stories.  No Hofstetter books, and they did have some so those sold, which is nice.  I bought Kritzerland and Kritzer Time - both unsigned and much cheaper than I get from the publisher.  The Benjamin Kritzer WAS signed - to "Jenni" - don't know who that is and it was one of the VERY early copies without the front free endpaper.  But the sad thing was, there were two signed books, both to my beloved hairdresser of forty-six years, Teddy.  Obviously someone went and sold all his stuff, which I know is inevitable but it was still sad to see those lovely inscriptions to him.  I hope someone buys them.  I found a couple of other really cheap and interesting things.

Then I picked up no packages but a nice envelope, did some banking, and am now home and about to do some work on the script of the musical.

That is sad about the signed books.....

TOD:
Mostly I know mystery plays from the movie versions, and there may have been changes, so I can't say....no I cannot say...AT THIS TIME.

I was in DIAL M FOR MURDER which was okay - but it's a LOT of talking......

I am feeling under the weather.  It was pouring rain and cold on Wednesday and I had to traipse around in the rain. And even though I had a big umbrella it was horrible and I felt bad afterwards.  My nose and running and my throat is raw.  I just took 2 Advil cold and sinus and that helped a bit.  Now i am starving.

Thank you DR Jennifer and sending you feel better vibes.

I rarely use an umbrella.  I much prefer bundling up and wearing clothes and hats that keep me dry.
