Relaxing (thank goodness), and listening to music - catching up on a lot of music that's been sitting here like so much fish. Right now listening to Alexander Scriabin's music - first symphony currently playing - very interesting and lovely music. All I knew of Scriabin was The Poem of Ecstasy, which I like, but he was very forward thinking, like Mahler and Rachmaninov. Looking forward to the other three symphonies (The Poem of Ecstasy is, in fact, his fourth symphony), along with his piano concerto and Reverie. I got this at Amoeba last night - three CD box set conducted by Dmitri Kitaenko - lovely sound - don't know the music well enough to know if these are "great" performances, but I'm certainly enjoying them. The whole box was eight bucks.
