I arrived in old town Alexandria yesterday about 3 pm after leaving home at 830am.

Did you arrive close to the expected time?

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Richard and I are keeping a very low profile this weekend.  We've bowed out of tomorrow's cook-out at Katie & Mike's and, of course, we both skipped church today.  Watching the Indianapolis 500 and taking our meds together.

At the theatre now. There's been a delay  in starting due to a local road being shut down.  So I've been browsing the gift shop

Hi vixmom!  I live 10-15 minutes from Old Town, too (of course it might be in a different direction!).  I could have met you last night if I had known.

Darn. That would have been fun

I was mistaken it's its red wine floating on tequila and club soda.  It's supposed to invoke the impression of water turning into  wine

Vixmom, you are in my old 'hood. I lived on South Lee St in Old Town for over twenty years. It's a lovely area.

Do you plan to come to VA more often? Of course, that would require that you have some time off work. Silly question.

Travel vibes in advance for the trip home.

DR VIXMOM that sounds even better - although I'm a white wine man myself....that room temperature stuff is for someone else.

The Ashkenazy box can be had for under twenty bucks, the one I got for under fifteen.

I bought a 3 CD set that had some good reviews.....looking forward to listening to this music again.

Hello all, The hubby and I were going to a Beatles rendition concert with friends. However with a prediction of rain and thunderstorms, we decided to stay home and maybe watch a movie!!!
