I'm home and watching a movie called Ordinary World with Billie Joe Armstrong (of the musical group Green Day), about a guy whose wife and daughter and brother forgot his birthday.  It's a low key movie and so far, enjoyable.

So, our family room was originally an enclosed porch that two owners ago was made into a year-round space.  Richard and I were sitting in there and I switched on the lamp next to my chair.  The bulb burned out and all the power in that room went out.  Richard tried the circuit breaker in the basement that's marked "back room" and - nada.  He and Rob investigated further to find that the portion of the basement nearest that room above is also out, including the washer (not the dryer, because it's on a 220 outlet).  So, any TV watching will have to take place in my Momcave and, if we want to watch a DVD it'll have to be on my laptop or Richard's.  And tomorrow, we have to find an electrician.  The one that did all the work here 3 years ago has retired.

Oh, my goodness!  Good luck with the electrician!

Today I watched LONDON HAS FALLEN with Gerard Butler.  Good movie.  However, there is no question why Mr. Butler didn't get an Oscar nomination.

I watched the movie on HULU, and then watched a couple of documentaries.

If you were contractually required to listen to him, would that be a Satie clause?

Gotten through the orchestral stuff, one twenty-three minute track of which I just deleted, since it had about one minute of music and twenty-two minutes of yakking.

One documentary was about the Kennedy assassination and arguing against the Lone Gunman theory.

It is a shame this expert didn't just write out the information and have someone else narrate the show.
