After recording Lithgow, I got to see him that night in A Delicate Balance with Glenn Close. She had a nosebleed and they had to stop the show for a bit. It was in December and Lithgow tried to get the audience to sing Christmas carols, but they brought the curtain down instead. :-(

Internet out again. I've about had it. Well, we'll see if I can finish before it goes out again. Opening number - embarrassing. Just do something classy - stop trying to be funny because - you're not and no one wants that. Do a great opening number, preferably from one of the shows.

But then again, there are the shows. Come From Away looks like everything I can't stand - proclaiming, loud, over dramatic - maybe it works in person. And Miss Saigon - holy smokes - I didn't like it to begin with, but that "now" staging and lighting was terrible. And I don't like the way singers say YEW rather than YOU.
