Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Tonight I pack.  Much as I look forward to being home, I'm a bit melancholy about leaving.  There are friends and a few lovers I cannot track down.  I worry about how they are and where they are.  i do not like loose ends, and I'd like to know they are well. Or alive. Or dead.

Leaving L.A. is always bittersweet for me.

Cast your blessings on them via whatever breeze you can find, Larry.  Sometimes, folks simply don't want to be found.

Yes, I do know that can be so, but still I worry and wonder.

It is hard not to.

My doctor has now decided - after consultation - that I will have radiation and chemo concurrently beginning the last week of June.

The chemo will be in the form of a twice daily pill.....radiation/chemo Mon-Fri...and Saturday and Sunday off....so we shall see.

Best of good wishes and vibes for you.  Did your doctor discuss special care with the pills and what to do if you have an allergic reaction while at home?

I visited Mom today and took her 3 of the cans of Vernor's ginger ale that DR Elmore left here after the party.  We shared one and I put the others in her mini fridge.  She'll probably ask me next time where they came from.

DR Elmore, I was hoping you weren't driving in that midday thunderstorm.

DR Elmore, I was hoping you weren't driving in that midday thunderstorm.

I had just left the cemetery when it began.  The big downpour was on my  way back from filling up the rental car.  By the time I reached Randy's it was over.

I ate some lunch - I refuse to let this crap impact me, so I had a bagel and a Chinese chicken salad, both good and I think I'm okay.

The band from Robber Bridegroom has recorded a hillbilly version of Put on Your Sunday Clothes.

I like the band. I don't like the singer.
