Happily, the work place is very well air-conditioned.  It's the evening heat at home that becomes burdensome.  Portable A/C works well enough, but not in extreme heat.  It then becomes more like a swamp cooler than an A/C unit.

So...I'm in the middle of this annoying project, for which my printer decided to run out of toner and not allow me to continue.  I had no choice but to replenish, without even shopping around for best price, so I wasn't in the greatest of moods jumping in the car and driving five miles to Staples for a new toner cartridge. 

As I neared the store, however, I looked over at some new construction on the other side of the road, and my mood brightened considerably.

Anyone (vixmom, for instance) care to take a guess at what I saw?

You can choose your own steak from the window in  the waiting area. They cut it in house daily And they bake the rolls fresh every 30 minutes

And they make all the sides fresh in house daily. Nothing frozen

Definitely use the call ahead seating the wait can be very long.  But with call ahead seating (They don't take reservations)   You do your waiting before you arrive  so you walk in give them your name and call ahead  number and you're usually seated in minutes even if the place is packed

Also at the one here they have a,special every Wednesday reduced prices in a couple of different steaks (with 2 sides included) and free "smother" (sauteed  onions and or mushrooms in your steak)  you may want to see if yours does the same
