Regarding today's food discussion, I've never been to either Chick-fil-A or In-and-Out Burger. But I will say that quality varies from one location to another at most chains. Panera, for example, which I've been to many times, has a lot of problems executing. I like Panera, but I got tired of the constant problems. Will I try them again? Yes. I'd like to see them solve their problems.

What is this newest trendy nonsense - the Whole30 diet? And why are people constantly taken in by these things? They do them, lose weight they could lose anyway, and then gain it all back within six months. But they SWEAR by it and try to get all their friends to do it.

I had to look this up. 30 stands for 30 days so it isn't a long term diet. It is changing the way you eat, supposedly using foods that will make you feel better as well as lose weight. Then you switch to something else, adding & changing foods depending how you react to them.

Well, tonight we don't have rehearsal for Hairspray, so I'm able to go to Harlequin Productions' volunteer appreciation night and final preview for their production of First Date. I have the CD and enjoy it, so it's nice that I'll finally get to see it.

I can understand that. I don't eat chicken, so I wouldn't go anyway, but their attitude is a real turn-off.
