I think I am too old for the role, but I got the cripple part down pat.

I couldn't even make it through the book.

I never even tried to watch the movie.

I just don't know if I am interested in doing it.

She really wants to do the female role.

[TCB]

Oh, but lunch was okay.

[TCB]

I had the lobster and shrimp combo.

[TCB]

The shrimp was really good.

[TCB]

The lobster was just okay.

[TCB]

But the biscuits were awesome.

Waiting to hear the news from DR Catherine about the birth of her granddaughter.  It could be any time now.

Back from our second and final preview.  The show itself ran very well - no missed cues.  One of my actors took my three very simple notes from the previous preview - a) a little more volume and fun in the first few minutes of the play, and b) to pick up some cues where the pauses were too long.  And this guy came in and changed his entire performance - he went so fast the audience couldn't understand a word he said.  He was like a farce, a melodrama.  I was furious.  And I went after him in front of everyone.  I don't know if he was punishing me for having given him a few notes (this guy has gotten fewer notes than anyone) or if he just somehow equated what my notes were with this outrageous and damaging performance - I mean the other actors were outraged by it.  I told him to put it back the way it was immediately.  He never did say why he did it - but he's very weird and has been from day one.  I then wrote him a long e-mail when I got home reiterating it had to go back to what it was IMMEDIATELY, but explaining why I came on strong.  I have never been able to "read" this actor.  But I'll tell you one thing - if he does it again for the opening, I will replace him immediately.

Well, it turned out that I wasn't needed tonight, so I left.  I actually went back to work, which was good because otherwise I was just going to go home for a couple of hours before I had to go downtown to pick up the money till and my tablet after tonight's 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche.  It was sold out again!

Went to HalfPrice Books and found the Judy Kaye version of Annie Get Your Gun. I think that makes eight recordings I have of the score.

I love Judy Kaye, but I've never gotten this recording.  I don't know why.  I think I need to get this.
