I am happy to announce the publication of my new novel by BearManor Media.
This one had a long gestation. I conceived the idea almost 2 decades ago, originally as a screenplay. At some point, it transformed into a novel, but that also took a few years to finish.
Set in the 1970s,
JACKIE GOES TO DIXIE is about Jackie Moss, a brash, Jewish Las Vegas comedian who is, by mistake, booked to do a one-night gig deep in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. The mountain folk, who were expecting a popular country-western singer named Jake Moss, are certainly disappointed. Indeed, the question now becomes: Can Jackie and his pianist, Dave Arthur, get out of this situation alive?
I'm very pleased with this work, and I hope you will give it a read.
