Listening to the Tchaikovsky Manfred Symphony, which I'm enjoying.  This journey began with Kubelik's Tchaikovsky 4th - I like that version much better than the one in this set - just smoother.  Generally this Svetlanov/Melodiya set is very emphatic, which is certainly the Russian way to play stuff.  I do have alternates of the fourth, fifth, and sixth with Mravinsky on DG and Reiner's Pathetique, which is great.

I've been uploading sixteen CDs of the symphonies of Nikolai Miaskovsky, a composer I know absolutely nothing about - I may have had a CD at some point of something, but no memory of the music it contained.  This guy, who wrote twenty-seven symphonies, all in the twentieth century, was prolific.  Looking forward to diving in.

I'm burning a DVD of clips recorded from the Classic Arts Showcase channel.

This one will have 25 tracks and be about 2 hours and 45 minutes long.

I've watched one episode (the next to the last) of "Grey's Anatomy" and am now watching the season finale.

They were originally broadcast in May, and I'm just now getting to them.

If you run up to Seattle in the next few days, you can see the entire cast.

Fred, I am so excited about THE LAST STARFIGHTER.  I will hopefully be there for the show.

One thing about Second Story Theatre is that it isn't a very big theater (audience-wise).

I never realized that they do a nine-show season.

Really?  Do you know if they're filming next season's episodes??

I just found out there won't be any live hydroplane race coverage this year.

Darn.  There are a couple of people at my work who really enjoy watching the races.  I don't know if they go to see them live, though.  If they haven't, I guess they'll have to now.
