We have yet to like Mexican food in Portland. Our friend, who seems to like odd Mexican food, asked if we just like California style Mexican. Of course to us that is proper Mexican food. We have had Mexican food from different regions of Mexico, and eaten it in Mexico, and on the whole have not found it to be all that different than what we grew up with. We very much enjoyed our food in Texas, and have enjoyed it in Mexico. We are limited in many ways not eating meat.
