Right now I'm hungry, and could be made very happy with some poor people's food.

I'm eating poor people's food right now, boxed angel hair pasta and (avert your eyes John G) meat sauce from a jar

You had meat in yours?

Well t is actually "flavored with meat".

Finished with my viewing.  Made the penne bolognese, cooked to their instructions.  It wasn't right, so I cooked it for an additional time - there was something off about it so I trashed it and am making the chicken risotto.  That means I'll only have one thing for tomorrow, but I'm fine with that.

Dr vixmom would be so proud of me!

As a cum laude graduate of her typing school, I just sent my beloved sister-in-law Jo an Amazon gift card reading "Hs[[y Birthdau, Jo!"

Hey guys - once again, my errant and truant-ness abounds, but something always brings me back here.

I'll need some excellent vibes and xylophones..... and maybe a marimba as well....

My oldest and best friend, Judy, has been been dealing with Achalasia and recently had surgery.  The surgery was long overdue and was a bit complicated, but she made it through and was on her way to recovery.  However, between the malnutrition (from not being able to keep food/liquids down for months) and the anesthesia from the surgery, her memory has not been great = but it's getting better, I'm told.   Anyhow - last night, she ended up in the ER with a high fever which has turned out to be pneumonia.

Judy is 75, we've known each other for almost 30 years, she's been my right hand man at church (2 parishes now) for almost that long, we've travelled, hiked, spent endless evenings just talking, etc... truly a best friend.  I was very positive that she would pull through the Achalasia issue, but now with the pneumonia, I've went into worry mode.

Everything else is fine.  DD's are fine, etc.    Love you all.

It is always nice to have you back.  Wishing Judy a full recovery!

What an awesome keepsake.  What is the story with QVC?
