The show went well, although Robert was nervous and went up a few times - he recovered each time, but my main note for him tonight was for him to stop beginning numbers thinking he's going to go up - which is why it's happening. The audience had a good time. Several people came up to me and said that the last couple of acts have seemed thrown together and were basically just a bunch of songs with no point, no interesting patter, nothing personal, and no structure. So, they were really happy tonight because we do have all that. Alby's mic was either off or he was too far from it, because we lost several laughs because no one could hear him. When they DID hear him the laughs came easily. There's one song in the show that just isn't working at all - we won't change it for this run, but it's coming out and will be replaced by something that has a little more impact.
