Please think positive thoughts for my wife, Sandy.

She is having foot surgery today.

Nothing serious.  She's just having a spur removed,, but still....

I have not heard from Susanna Moross, but I am happy to see that she has been posting on Facebook today.

DR Jane asked yesterday

"DR Michael I hope you don't regret going to Montreal to wait out the storm."

Regrets, I've had a few. But then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do. And saw it through without exemption. I planned each charted course. Each careful step along the byway. And more, much more than this. I did it my way.

😁

I think you did the right thing since you had a place to go but I also understand wishing you wereat home with your friends.

So glad to hear everyone's all right.

As it happened, the friends here cancelled their Orlando vacation.  Too much going on, and the drive down would actually have been a bit much, what with the allotted time.  They'll plan another one.

I think that was a good idea.

Tuesday morning greetings!  The remnants of Hurricane Irma have begun to arrive in SW Ohio.  No rain yet, but it's real cloudy.

On my way to vote in the primary, I stopped at the bank for $20.  The ATM whirred, the receipt claimed I was given $20 and I received nothing.  The manager asked me to try again so she could see what was going on.  This time I got the $20, then had to spend too much time on the phone with customer service to report the lost withdrawal.  Oy!

Good thoughts for Sandy. I hope the surgery helps her foot. It's hard to function when it hurts to walk!

Is that what your foot surgery, shortly before your blood clot, was for?

Yesterday I asked Val to help me cart clothing to the thrift shop today and he agreed.  There's been no word from him.  The housecleaning continues.

Just got a text that the power is back on!

All I have to do now is book a ticket back home.

Great news, Michael!

I just spoke to my sister-in-law JoAnn.  I wanted to hear how the job was going.  She's on a 2-week training course and she likes it very much.  She's one of several up for the job, so I hope they like her enough to offer one of the two positions to her.

Thank you all for the vibes.  Jo says Randy seems to be suffering from something similar, so I guess I picked it up in Ohio.
