PONDERING THE IMPONDERABLES AND THE PONDERABLES

Well, you've read the notes, the notes pondered both the imponderables and the ponderables, and now it is time for you to post until the imponderably imponderable cows come home.

Thanks DR George.   I do enjoy most of the shows, however,  you didn't make INHUMANS sound too exciting ;D

Jule Styne was a former publicity client.

I did his Oscar campaign for "Best Song" for FUNNY GIRL.

We got the nomination, but not the award.

Today is the birthday of the late Anna Kashfi.

As I related in my 2nd memoir, LIFE, LIBERTY & THE PURSUIT OF HOLLYWOOD:

"One afternoon in the late 1960s, the owner of an upscale coffee shop in Brentwood asked me to come by and talk to him about my possibly publicizing his restaurant.

"When I got there, he was busy with another matter, so he introduced me to one of his favorite customers, and she
invited me to sit with her and her son until he was free.

"The lady was actress Anna Kashfi, who had played prominent roles in films like THE MOUNTAIN with Spencer Tracy and BATTLE HYMN with Rock Hudson, but was certainly best known as being the first wife of Marlon Brando, and the mother of his son, Christian.

"I spent perhaps fifteen or twenty minutes chatting with the pleasant Ms. Kashfi about this and that. My impression of Christian, who appeared to be about eleven at the time, was that he was a quiet, well-mannered young man.

"In 1990, this same quiet, well-mannered young man shot and killed his half-sister’s boy friend in his father’s Los Angeles home. He pled guilty to manslaughter, and served five years in prison.

"One never knows what the future holds."

Or do songs that had their music reused for other songs like

"I'm in Pursuit of Happiness" which became "You'll Never Get Away From"

Funny Girl (Cut From Broadway version) vs Funny Girl written for the film
