I just read Annabelle's paper, all about her background, vaccinations, etc.  K9Kastle fosters cats and dogs from the MACC, which has spaces in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island.  I probably saw her several weeks ago on their site.

She was turned in to MACC as a stray on Sept. 19, my birthday!  I guess it was fate.

After yesterday's fried chicken, I decided I need to walk twice the steps today. So I walked this morning until my Fitbit buzzed the 10,000 steps before turning back. I didn't take the same route back, so I ended up with 18 thousand something.

Well, this is interesting.  I did a quick search to see if there was anything on how accurate "American Made" is, and I found THIS article.

The article began comparing the character to the one in The Wolf of Wall Street, a movie I insisted Keith turn off and he really didn't mind, I thought no way.  The more I read it seemed like I might watch this one.

At least there was a physical resemblance between McConaughey & Newton Knight in the film we watched last night.

Oh, George, I did not read all of the article.  I usually read the truth vs fact after I watch the movie.  It can kind of ruin the enjoyment of the film if you where the facts have been changed.  I could guess a lot of it last night which was ok.

Annabelle now has a nickname, courtesy of BK and Adrianna Hofstetter: Purr Ball. This little baby is one loud purring machine.

To me one of the most beautiful sounds is a cat purring, and the feel of the motor when the cat is curled up on you is heavenly.

After reading DR VIXMOM's adventure story yesterday, I had to have a glass of wine....a BIG ONE.

Last night, Annabelle climbed into bed with me to watch Midsomer Mysteries.  She then spent much of the night sleeping with me, so I don't think she will ever use her kitty bed.  Around 2:30am she went on what I'd call patrol, jumping onto shelves, climbing all the way to the top of one of my stereo speaker, which is about as high as you can go in the apartment, then she headed off to check the various closets and crevices, perhaps chasing a cockrach, and then around 4:30 or so she came back to bed, burrowed under the blankets, and stayed with me the rest of the night.  At the moment she's half in and half out of the blankets, sitting up and looking about the room.

I have never purchased a cat bed because my bed has always been their bed.  She might enjoy her bed at other times.

Dogs, IMHO, are no different when it comes to her is the boss.

Good for you.  With the cooler temps going forward you might be able to do this more often.  I expect my steps numbers will drop from 20-30,000 to under 20,000.

Leslie and Cathy have been friends since grade school, Leslie and I became  friends when she was 15 and I was 16

The three of us have not gone out together for about 40 years
