Waiting for my test, I was getting a cup of water out of the cooler, when I dropped the paper cup.  I grabbed for it, and managed to break the scooter key off in the ignition.

Fortunately, it was quiet in the lab (just before lunch), because I soon had two lab techs and a receptionist all trying to get the broken key out.

Just when I was about to give up on the effort, one of the techs managed to extract the piece with some tweezers.
