What an exciting adventure it must be to start rehearsals on a totally new and exciting project. It is too bad you couldn't get someone to film the whole experience -- the birth of a new Sherman Brothers' musical.

Today at work, everyone (in buildings that are open) are required to participate in the 2017 International ShakeOut Day.

"At 10:19 a.m., millions of people around the world will Drop, Cover, and Hold On and practice other aspects of their emergency plans through ShakeOut."

TOD - Other than Italian dishes Skip makes, my other favorites are baked or fried mozzerella almost anywhere, with sauce of course, and also the Penne Bolognese at West Bank cafe.

I have no idea how authentically Italian anything I eat is, but I like all the standard favorites.

In trying to recall favorite Italian restaurants, I have fond memories of a couple of visits to Chianti on Melrose. For a neighborhood jernt, I will always miss my Two Guys From Italy on Hollywood and McCadden or whichever block it was. Not sure I ever ate in Miceli's.

Had a meal to die for on South Street in Philadelphia, and have no idea what the restaurant was. Actually, I'm assuming South Street because that's where a bunch of us were walking around earlier that evening. I'm blanking on Italian foods in other places I've lived or been to.

What a horrible medical tale, about an injury that's hardly uncommon. Good lord, now doctors can't agree on something like that??
