Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a heartbeat and pace, and now it is time for you to post until the paced cows come home.

From last night:  George, the problem with the lasagna is not  making too much of it.  The problem is trying to make the lasagna now that I am in the chair.  It was  a lot of work to make when I could stand up, but in the chair it would be impossible.

Don't be.  Of all the things that I can never do again, making lasagna is probably one of the least important.

I've started listening to the Cole Porter set I bought yesterday. There's a reason I didn't know the two Porter songs: They weren't written by Cole Porter. One was by someone named Del Porter. The other was by Warren and Dubin.

Embarrassing.

Great notes!  I can understand the frustration level that such behavior brings MR BK....I deal with it every summer....and when I finally say something, the fools looks around like:  "Who are you talking to?  I dint do nuffin'."

Although this is NOT a solution to that problem.....when I am directing - or suggest to the director if I'm in a show - is make a CLOSED Facebook group for cast, crew, and staff.  They pay more attention to FB  than emails.  You can post your NOTES there and SEE who has looked at them, and you can be sure that everyone sees any notice you post if you want to change your mind about doing something at rehearsal...or remind them of what they should KNOW for TONIGHT!!!
It's a great tool!

I read the chapters on "The Vamp" and "Ballet Ballads" in the Latouche bio last night, stayed up far too late, and - much to Annabelle's dismay - slept later than she'd like me to.

Now that she's had her Frisky Feast, she's allowed me to have some coffee while she waits for birds in the window.

I have to finish up "Ballet Ballads" this week and get it off to my copyist Scott.  I'll work on that obce I tidy up and put Annabelle's toys away.
