Back from a VERY long day.  First I went to the new house with three more boxes of books, after stopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a thing to put silverware in.  I unpacked the three boxes of books, then had some telephonic conversations, then took Beverly Glen over the hill - what a difference to Coldwater Canyon these days.  No traffic at all.  And it was only an extra five minutes on Sunset to the Shermans.  Richard seemed in very good spirits today.  We had a grand visit and he loved the Levi postcards.  He can't wait to see the show.  Then I began the horror show of trying to get across town.  Sunset was all backed up so I took Doheny down to Santa Monica Blvd.  That was all backed up so I got down to Melrose and THAT was all backed up but not quite as bad.  I endured Melrose all the way to LACC - what should have been a fifteen minute drive was fifty minutes.  Once there, I had a sandwich at Cafe 50s, then it was time for rehearsal.

We were missing one of our kids due to a little pet emergency, but no one should be missing from here on in.  The run-through ran just what it's been running - there was some weird old energy going on in the show, but everyone is finding the balance and how far to go with their characters, and we're still trying to find moments and beats but it was pretty smooth, save for one set change in act two.

Jeanne it is definitely the pills, better than malaria though.  I am feeling better now.

Good. How long do you have to take the pills?

At first I thought I needed 40 days of pills.  I need to double check but it looks as if we won't be in malaria county for the first 10 days of the trip.  We have to take them a week after we return.

If I had tested for a reaction before booking this trip we might not be going ;D

Firngers crossed it will be better tomorrow.  At least it is tolerable.

Thanks to all who sent vibes.

How are you feeling, Jeanne?

Toothwise, fine. Yesterday was just x-rays and consultation. Although I'm definitely feeling poorer.

The dental office scheduler and I were trying to book appointments. My dentist is always busy and the upcoming holidays only make it tougher. Do you know that they wanted me to come in on Nov 17, the day of BK's opening night? Well, that's out. I expect the procedure will knock me out--all dental procedures tend to do so these days--and I want to enjoy the show.

I am glad you refused the Nov 17th date.

Can you possibly wait until January when scheduling is easier?

When I got back from the old actors lunch I had to take a nap.  I ended up sleeping for four hours.

Tonight last night I watched the CMA Awards.  That shows how starved I was for entertainment.
