Friday morning greetings!  It's very cold, but clear and sunny, here in SW Ohio - perfect for the first day of AAUW Middletown's Holiday Bazaar.  I'm working today and tomorrow from 1-3pm each day.

I hope we are on the right road.  Milla has sent me the name of a cat counselor, and I will talk to him tomorrow.  Today I am off to the sitzprobe for BRIGADOON.

Cat counselor - who knew?  I hope they haven't torn up your apartment while you're away...

I am on the train, almost at Grand Central, on my way to meet DR Elmore at today’s rehearsals.

Have fun in The City, DR ChasSmith!

TOD from yesterday:
I'm sorry I forgot to check the blog yesterday.
As I've mentioned before, I can't access haineshisway from work, so I can only post in the morning and then I'm done. But before the evil management at my work started sensoring "entertainment" and "social networking" sites, and I was able to post throughout the day, I remember a particularly fun day where we all posted our memories of finale sit-com episodes. And since Bruce doesn't watch sit-coms, we must have come up with this topic all on our own, although I don't remember how it got started. Anyway, I never knew how "Newhart" ended, which was a particularly clever finale, but once the folks here told me about it, I was able to watch in on Youtube. I'll always be grateful for that.

I'm up, I'm up - alarm would not have gone off - I set it, and leave it as I should on the clock app and at some point in the evening this ancient iPad just reverts back to the home screen - when that happens, alarm will not work.

The first doctor is practicing tough love. She wants me to work through the pain with plenty of exercise. Resting is not good. So, tomorrow I start to walk.

Good luck to Thatch! At least he is eating.

Ditto and ditto!  There have been several times where I've stuck my finger in Neve's food and she licked it off my finger, but she still wouldn't eat the actual food.  What's that all about? :-\

I told him I hope that when he turns the corner onto 82nd Street, he doesn’t see a pile of rubble where his building used to be.

BRIGADOON — just beautiful.  And with a magnificent orchestration.

I would love to hear that.  BRIGADOON was the very first musical that I ever performed in.  I was in college and played Angus McGuffie (and other assorted chorus bits).

I have to wonder if Doctor #1 has ever been in a similar situation. As much as I believe in exercise, I hear doctors recommend things that would sometimes be next to impossible for the patient.

I hope the walking helps you, John G, but I'm also interested in what Doctor #2 has to say. He/she will probably tell you to do the opposite.

I am home.  I had to check the building's foundations, then feed Annabelle and Thatch, and now I'm waiting for a delivery of Chinese food.
