Thatch and Annabelle playing rough this morning: they chase each other, then jump on each other, and roll around for a bit kicking each other, then Annabelle rubs away and Thatch chases her.  She's confounded him by jumping onto the top of the cage, or onto the kitchen sink where he cannot reach her before she lets him chase her again.  She's such a flirt.

I had so much fun these past 2-3 months, wearing my director's hat again, working with actors in the USA and the UK to bring 5 of my non-musical one-person plays to audio.  They're all done now (i.e. GABLE, LOMBARD, TRACY, FLYNN and RATHBONE), joining previously recorded CLARA BOW and ORSON WELLES.

The process was such a pleasure that I've decided to re-think my decision to abandon the one-person play concept and write a couple more with the idea of taking them all the way through an audio production.

Now, all I have to do is come up with a couple of viable subjects.  I, actually, do have two in mind, but I'll wait to reveal them until the plays have been written.

And it's a late one.  I've been up for well over two hours, but I've allowed myself a very slow "getting going" period.  Which feels pretty good.

Oh my, yes.  Another op'nin'!  Well, at least I'm feeling much better.  And so are most of the cast.  I'm just wondering if, perhaps tonight, I'll hear this one song sung in the right octave ..... for the first time ever.  Can you believe that?  Oy.

Friday morning greetings!  This evening I'm meeting Rebecca at the auditorium on the Miami campus where her library career began (and ended 30+ years later).  We're seeing Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre's production of Children of Eden, a show I've never seen and know very little about.  Film at 11...

I had really active dreams just before waking up, which vanished as soon as I was awake.  But one of them just came back to me.  I was in Southern California and was amazed to rediscover how warm it is in December.

This is World AIDS Day, and I mourn the hundreds of friends in the LGBT community, theatre community, and social networks I lost to this plague.
