And now it's time for Annabelle's ordeal.  She and Thatch are both on Famciclovir, and her dose is twice as strong as his.  She absolutely detests it and puts up a major fight.  Yet, once it's over, she still loves me.

Back from a lovelier than lovely luncheon with dear reader Jeanne.  Fish and chips and biscuit were great - owner was very sweet and yes, really talkative but fun.

Then I decided to be bold and I did the update to whatever the latest operating system is - it took about forty-five minutes but was very simple, save for forgetting to remind myself what my Cloud password is - it could only have been one of four things and thing three did the trick and I'm back up and running, save for Mac Mail doing a slow update.  But the reason I really did this was because apparently the last two updates have been really strong for the mail program.

Today at work, we had a cookie tray silent auction to benefit a local charity (I forget which).  People brought cookies for the auction and they were distributed among many different trays so that each person didn't have to make up his or her own tray.  I bid on one and got outbid. :P

BUT the person who outbid me had also bid on a couple of other trays (just to make sure that everything got at least one bid...even though she bid on mine after me ::) ) and she won all three that she bid on!

She really didn't expect to win them all, so I offered to pay her what she paid for that one tray, and she said okay!  So, I'll pay her back tomorrow because I didn't have any cash or, of course, my checkbook with me.

There were also some extra loose cookies that people could just get for a donation, so not everyone had to buy a tray to get something.  I got a couple of those, too. ;D

So I threw on my jeans and a coat scar, gloves and boots and went out to tackle it.  I cleared off Vixdad's car do he could catch his train then got my car, the drive and the walkway and steps done
