I've been having one of those days. I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. This was a day when I could have slept in, of course! And the mornings are just too cold to get up willingly. I needed to wash my hair and there was no hot water. This is a common problem in this building, but it isn't usually this bad. Apparently, my neighbors all took their showers before me. I always think of Italy and trying to shower in ICY water. Ugh! Then the usual frustrations with poorly designed, i.e. not adequately tested and debugged, websites. First world problems, but annoying just the same.

DR George, I'm sorry about the loss of your friend and co-worker. I'm sure his family appreciated your presence.

We're all so glad JRand is still here. I'm thankful he decided to go with the treatment.

Maybe the highlight of this year was the trip Sandra, Dennis, Kerry, and I made to Palm Springs in March. I'm very grateful we were able to make that trip.

Elmore, I've looked at the county pound's website. The cats are getting adopted very quickly right now. That's a good thing.

I am still going to wait a while, I think.

The wonderful Val stopped by to bring me some homemade baklava from him and his wife Ajdita.  I will have a piece tomorrow morning with my coffee.

Little Thatch has become fond of my picking him up, cuddling him, and then setting him in his cat tree.  Then he runs down and rubs against me until I do it again.  At the moment, he and Annabelle are fighting over today's Amazon carton.

Listening to the radio.  Which, sadly, I hardly ever think of doing when I'm here at the house.  Anyhoo, something by Chadwick, which is rather nice.

He's been a lot quieter these days. I wonder if he realizes I'm not at top speed.

Returning to top speed vibes!
