LOL DR ELMORE the joys of belonging to a cat.

DR CHAS SMITH - we used to love those albums as well....I even remember one about Liz & Dick that was a bit risque....

DR JANE they surgically gave me a port in order to take blood, etc, and they decided to leave it in until May.....it has to be used every six weeks to keep it clear....so that's what happened today.  And it was okay.

In other news, I put up my backsplash.  My sister came in and looked at it.  She said that it is crooked and needs to be redone.

I said thanks, come over next Friday and help me.  I went and got some more materials.....and she is going to do so.  I shall sit and watch her....

Page Three.

My uncle just asked me to print out the entire 312 pages of the Glenn Simpson testimony.....I do not want to seem ungrateful....but my baby printer is not up for the job.

I put the material on a flash drive and will have it printed out at the UPS store tomorrow.....cheaper than a new printer....

We are home.  Thatch has been manicured, microchipped and given a booster shot.  He was tested for anemia and his blood is fine.  Dr Romero wants him to have a cardio test to check his heart murmur. His conjunctivitis is cleared up in the left eye, but er need another week of terramycin in the right one.

The little hellion behaved like a sweet innocent little baby to Dr Romero and the pretty assistant who held him.  He was docile, suffered all intrusive procedures with no struggle or resistance, and laughed at my claims of how difficult he is!

;D  Better than proving you right.

I am glad Thatch is improving.  Vibes one last week of the medication and his eyes will be fine.

He now weighs a little more than 5 lbs.  Annabelle is up to 8!

I've done almost five new pages, so I'll take a little break, then try to do five more.

DR JRand67, I've started reading A Short History of a Small Place. I think I'm going to like it a lot.

She's thriving.  I need to have that possible polyp checked out - there's clearly a problem and it's not respiratory related - and she needs some dental work on a broken fang.  I will take care of these as soon as Thatch's bill is paid off.

The port was flushed and all was good :)

After all of this I hope they live long healthy lives.  Our sickest kitten turned out to be the healthiest over the years.

Vibes the heart murmur is not a big deal.

DR JEANNE the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that you are not in agreement with some of the walk backs on the former president's immigration policies.....and that you would like to have a last visit with your friend.....this friend will be mentioned by someone else before the end of the week or you will read more details about an accomplishment in this person's life.....

Most interesting!

Thatch knows - I do not know how! - that something's up with the vet this morning, and he's avoiding me.  I need to get him in the carrier by 9:15.

My dog, Pasha, used to always know when we were going somewhere. She's be dancing all around. At first I thought she'd heard my car keys. Then I made sure not to give anything away. But she still knew.  She knew when we were going to the vet, too. No dancing this time.

They become very submissive at the vet. Is it because they smell all the other animals? Maybe they hear/sense some of the pain? They know before they're even in the door.

DR Jeanne, how is your mouth doing today?

It's improving, thanks. I haven't taken any of the Advil/Tylenol combo today. There's some discomfort, but not bad. You'd think that painkillers kill ALL types of pain, wouldn't you? The Advil/Tylenol does nothing for my back. Today I took some of the naturopathic painkillers, which DO help my back. They, on the other hand, do nothing for the toothache. I may take Advil/Tylenol before bed, though; I want to be able to sleep.
