Thatch has been angry with me since his medicine, and he's hiding in the larger Amazon box so good sister Annabelle is lounging in the smaller one and surprisingly not demanding the larger one.  My little pudgy girl looks like 10 lbs of sausage in a 5 lb casing.

I was hoping he would be ok with the flavored medicine.

Thatch seems to really like the cat tree.

I think he sleeps there more than Annabelle does, but they both play on it all day long; it's their scratching post, jungle jim, occasional bed.

In other news, I spent a LOT of time at my orientation on the MacBook yesterday (following several days of having to concentrate on other things), and it's going splendidly.  The frequency of WTF Moments is noticeably decreasing.

That’s the kind of progress I like.

Have I missed discussion here of the controversy about plot points of THE SHAPE OF WATER seeming to be very close to the play LET ME HEAR YOU WHISPER by Paul Zindel?

Does Bk have a take on this, or anyone else have any thoughts?

Of course, Mr. Zindel is well known for plays like   ...MARIGOLDS.  And for his screenplay for MAME, but we won't hold that against him, I think.

Wrong, Fred. Hold it against him. Hold it against everyone involved when it comes to Mame. Put the blame on Mame, boys.

Before selling the horrid Angel pressing of Follies, you should compare both the sound and the mix and see just what we did.

Had a small breakfast whilst proofing, she of the Evil Eye has gone her merry way, and I'm here until the three o'clock meeting.

Mort Walker has died. I was a Beetle Bailey fan when I was a kid.

The official court photographer is our DR ChasSmith, whose portraits of Miss Annabelle have won her approval.  We must schedule a visit soon.

I have no doubt that the Kritzerland is better.  No need to listen to the Angel once again, since I only bought the thing because of one song.

The one positive is that I paid for the Angel with Amazon credit, so there was no out-of-pocket.

Huge issue going on right now with Malwarebytes, in case anyone here besides me has it running.  Either they were hit maliciously, themselves, or something is going very wrong with an updating process...  but over the last couple of hours, people are experiencing memory-hogging computer problems like crazy.  Following several attempts at rebooting and trying to disable the f-- doggone thing, I launched Windows in Safe Mode and uninstalled the little dear.  And I've got a paid subscription.  They'll just have to work it out later for me.

:o Oh, my goodness!

And now for some good news:

Tiffany Vazquez and TCM have parted ways - her last intros are being shown today.

She said on Twitter simply that her "contract was not renewed."

Interesting.  I wonder who they'll replace her with.

I hadn't heard anything about the similarities to LET ME HEAR YOU WHISPER.  Actually, I've never heard of LET ME HEAR YOU WHISPER, either. ::)

I just looked.  I DO have the Kritzerland FOLLIES.

It was out of alphabetical order.

Damn! I guess I'll put the new one up on Ebay.

I don't know how, but I have THREE copies of the soundtrack to The Bird Cage.

Since I hardly ever watch TCM, what was the issue with her?

Well, I'm going to take a shower, get dressed and go out for a while.  I got notice that some items that I had ordered from ThinkGeek have arrived at a local GameStop store, which is where I had it sent.  The shipping charges were $3 less if my order was shipped to a store instead of my house.  So, I saved a bit of money on top of the HUGE savings of my order!

I got a couple of light Star Wars jackets, normally $49.99, for only $8.99 each!  And a Black Widow (from The Avengers) hoodie, normally $59.99, for only $7.99!  And a few other things. :D

I'll probably then get something to eat, then go to the theater.

Be back...eventually. :)

Joke Time on Saturday night:

The wife of a man who lived in Maine disappeared.  A week later the police showed up at his door.

They said: Well, sir, we have bad news, good news, and better news for you.  How do you wish to receive it?

Man:  I'll take the bad news first.

Police:  I'm afraid your wife is dead, we pulled her body from the bay this morning.

Man:  Oh, dear.  Well, what's the better news?

Police:  Well, when we brought her up, we found a dozen of the biggest and best Maine lobsters clinging to her, so we thought we'd share them with you.

Man: Oh.....what's the best news?

Police:  Well....we're bringing her up again tomorrow.
