I don't really know what Wacky Noodles are. I just know that BK likes them and prepares them a lot.

Solved part of my internet speed problem by resetting the modem before calling them.  (I'm SO glad I did that first.  Always reset first, folks.)

According to several speed tests that got my download speeds up where they belong.  Upload speed is a different matter, and if another reset doesn't help it I'll still have to call.  But that's not quite as critical.

Dontcha love it when you can fix things yourself?

Well done, Chas.

I did next to nothing yesterday, which is very unusual for me. Today I'm doing the laundry that I didn't do yesterday.

It was a lovely concert: "A Little Night Music Suite,"  orchestrated by Jonathan Tunick; "Thinking Like A Mountain," a work for speaker and orchestra by Victoria Bond, the conductor; "Cheever Country," a suite composed by Jonathan Tunick; and Copland's "Billy the Kid." I saw several friends there as well as Jonathan and his beautiful wife Leigh Beery.

Even though I’m not watching the game, I made some tomatillo salsa. Very spicy and really good. I could use this on chicken or fish.

Very enjoyable workshop detail in today's notes.

Agreed!

This afternoon, I think I'm going to the movies. I really want to see Call Me By Your Name on the big screen.

It's very good!

Just had a nice phone conversation with my brother-in-law Jerry, who turns 80 today.  He's my sister's husband, so I also had a nice, much longer, chat with her.

A very happy birthday to your brother-in-law!

So, last night's show was sold out, as is today's final performance!  We had to hold the house for almost 10 minutes to be able to add chairs and get everyone in...which they did.  About 20 were hold-overs from last night, so it's good that they were able to get in today.

The cast party last night was at the director's house.  There was some food (always meatballs) and good conversation.  I didn't get home until about 2:30 a.m.  I fed my cat then went right to bed.

After the show today, we have to strike.  Fortunately, it won't be too difficult.  The set itself won't come down until tomorrow, so today we just have to move the set pieces over to the storage shed, which is right behind the theater.  The cast will organize the costumes and clean the dressing rooms.  The tech crew (including me) will move the set pieces and things like that.

After the strike, I'm going to my parents' house for our weekly family dinner.  Hopefully, something will be left for me...whatever it'll be. :)
