Thanks to yesterday evening's rain and the below-freezing overnight lows, the driveway was lovely shade of black ice this morning. But the cars were able to handle it and we're at 34 or thereabouts, with just enough sun, that I can already see the rest of it giving up the ghost.
And today's the day I get the snowblower back. Seems like it's been forever, but it's the three weeks they originally estimated. Would have been two if they hadn't had to order two parts. We were lucky, there was only one storm during that time in which I would have used it. And now it'll be as good as new. Improved, in fact, because I didn't have chains on the tires before, and now I will.
