Harry Connick Jr. is going to star in a musical of THE STING at Paper Mill in NJ.

I'm very wary of New Jersey Transit trains, but may have to brave it for this if the reviews are good.  I wonder if a bus goes there from Port Authority.

Unless the talk is that it will move to NYC right away anyway.

Wonder how they'll deal with the fact that many audience members will come in knowing the plot's surprises while others will not.  It may be dangerous to go into the lobby at intermission because of some gabby people.  (This was a big problem at SLEUTH, for example, overhearing people who saw it already dropping teasin spoiler hints to their friends while on line at the bathroom or concession stand)

Meaning the original Broadway production of SLEUTH, of course.

I gather the intermission crowd was very careful about spoilers when TCB starred in SLEUTH

Famous Kats of HHW!

Hope you saw the Bernese DR JANE.

I didn't get to it but thanks.  At some point I should be able to retrieve the video.

I'm printing Amazon invoices today so poor Annabelle has been banished to the bathroom.  When I let her out, Thatch and I are moving to a hotel to escape her wrath.

Went to a local coffee shop, Corky's, that I've been wanting to try.  I had a delicious sandwich - turkey, Swiss, cole slaw and Russian dressing on grilled rye.  Came with four really tiny bite-sized onion rings.  I'll be back.

The onion rings, maybe the slaw (I am very picky) sound good.

I have mentioned before that my Vancouver was established prior to that famous one in B.C.

I have also mentioned we often walk over at Fort Vancouver.

Don't forget, we often walk along the Columbia River.

DR TCB I am watching the Olympics. Go Team Canada!

I have really enjoyed what I've seen so far.

Canada beat the Team USA in mixed doubles curling, however......

The first game of curling in the Pacific Northwest took place at Fort Vancouver. In January 1847, the Columbia River froze over, allowing teams from the Hudson's Bay Company and the Royal Navy's HMS Modeste to go head-to-head on the ice.

Sounds interesting, FJL.   I took the train from Penn Station in October to see The Honeymooners and didn't have a problem.

Tuesday evening greetings!  Rebecca and I had a nice long coffee visit at Starbucks this morning.  From there I did a couple of errands and have been home since early afternoon.  Had a recliner nap before fixing us a Shrove Tuesday supper of pecan waffles and bacon.  The tradition is pancakes, but I do better with waffles.

Our temps have changed but the days have stayed clear and dry.  I will be sad to see the rain return.

Nice postcard DR JANE.

My mother is getting her right eye cataract surgery tomorrow....then she will be done....except for a followup on Thursday and daily eye drops for awhile.

She already sees much better with only ONE eye done...so I am sure she will be pleased with the result tomorrow.

Glad to hear she’s doing so well.  I saw my friend Betty last night for the first time since her 2 surgeries in January and she doesn’t look good.  Can’t see very well either...

Men's Shorts on Thursday....

That's sounds like the title of something that wouldn't be unwelcome in Larry's VCR.

I took a beautiful sunset walk this evening.  Keith called to tell me it was dark out.  The path back to our place is dark and I was prepared with a flashlight.  The walking path along the river is lit and there were lots of people out with cameras.
