I am home.  Thanks to lousy bus service and lousier traffic, my two errands after the barber took me forever.  Everything is accomplished, and I need t get to work.  I lose all of tomorrow because of the orchestra rehearsal and sitzprobe for Grand Hotel.

Sorry about your hassles, Elmore. But I’m really jealous about your getting to see Grand Jotel. I love that score.

I am a big fan of Albert Finney, and TWO FOR THE ROAD.

Just took Chester to the groomer.

He was protesting all the way.

Greetings from San Francisco airport. The plane landed 10 minutes early. The pilot announced that the gate was occupied and we’d have to wait 10 minutes.  It’s now over 30 minutes and we’re just pulling up to the gate.

When I was booking my flight I chose the 12:36 connection instead of the 11:36 one, thinking it was too close.  I’m glad I did !

This forest show is a tough one for the synthesizer-ator.  You could read War and Peace through the tacets.

Damn it all, I believe it might be time for a nap.  Especially taking into consideration the four and a half hours (give or take) of sleep I got last night.  Oh my, yes.

Thatch, Annabelle, and I had a 2-hour lie down.  It was very nice.  Thatch today jumped up on the file cabinets and climbed to the top of the bookcases.  I am very proud of him.  The fact that both cats are now climbing to the tops of shelves makes me very aware that I might come home and find piles of books and everything on the floor.

Or like something in my house. Without an indoor cat.

Topic of the Day:

Albert Finney:
Erin Brockovich
Scrooge

Susannah York:
Superman

I just realized that these are the only movies of theirs that I've seen. ::)

Vixmom, I saw a story on USAToday about how a couple let their dog be their wedding photographer.

:o How did the pictures turn out?

While looking up Albert Finney's movies on his Internet Movie Database listing, I came across this:  Aspects of Love (2005)!  It also stars Sarah Brightman and Kritzerland performer Jean Louisa Kelly.  Does anyone know anything about this??

They didn’t sue the dog. Actually, I don’t know. I only read the headline.

A real up and down day here in the Oaks of Sherman, but we'll let the up outweigh the down and to that end I have some donuts here.
