Tuesday morning greetings!  Rob and Mary Linda are in flight from Paris.  They're due into Philadelphia at about noon, but their flight to Cincinnati has already been cancelled.  I wonder if they know that...

Well, that'll teach them to have a good time in Paris!

Thanks for the vibes for Rob and Mary Linda, DR Elmore.  They're young and traveling light (no checked luggage), so they should be OK.  Neither one of them has to work tomorrow, which might be a good thing...

I hope DR DRUXY and DR JOHN G are not close to the bombings that are happening in their proximity.....or am I geographically confused?

Greetings from Johnston, South Cackalacky!

Things are pretty slow down here...driving, talking, service...

But that gives everyone an opportunity to visit and catch up. And gossip, too.  Lots of gossip. About people you don't know and, based upon the gossip, hope never to encounter.

I'm "having" my taxes done by an accountant.  My first time ever having my taxes done. It's too leisurely for words.

The peach trees have already bloomed and hopes are high for a great peach season. Everything greened and bloomed early this year, but so far so good.  No major freezes yet.  If we get a hard freeze, the crops will be ruined.  Eyes crossed for no ruination.

Am desperately trying to keep up with the rest of the world, but it seems pointless at times.  The world seldom touches Johnston.  Reality certainly doesn't as everyone (practically) watches Fox News.  My uncle watches little else.  He considers himself terribly well-informed.  I've mentioned in his presence that any Fox News information is highly susceptible to false/fake news, but he doesn't seem to hear me.

Ah, well.

There is so much food around here.  My mother is Grinch-plus about having fried foods and sweets. She craves vegetables. Vegetables, vegetables, vegetables.  Still, I do indulge when caramel cake is in the offing.

Happy Birthday to everyone whose birthdays I may have missed. My intentions are good, but I spend most of my online time on my phone, and this site is very difficult to read/post to on that little screen.

Excuses, excuses.  I know.

Am going to spend more time at my laptop every day, so hopefully I won't be as remiss as I have been.

Happy Tuesday to everyone.  Get your taxes done if you haven't already.

I need to buy a chocolate bunny this week, so that I can eat the ears off of it.

Well, perhaps last night's e-mail was just silly, but it did give me hope for a little miracle.  I called the e-mailer as soon as I saw it, left a message, but have heard squat, and my feeling is if someone is serious about something they get back to you right away.  I left one more message on voice mail and sent one additional e-mail response, basically saying "Ball - court - yours."
