Unless the person gave me the wrong number to call, but even then, I sent a message back to him via the same avenue he sent to me.

Wait a minute - you're going to start some OTHER book before mine?

Unfortunately yes.

You told me this week.  Why is every other book more important, just out of curiosity.  This stuff I will never ever understand, especially given our rather long 50+ year history.

And I am so irritated that this little carrot was dangled in front of me last night and that there's been only radio silence since.  I just don't get it.

Good luck catching the carrot.

My concentration has been off and I have been half sleeping vs reading.  I had expected to begin it on the flight home from Vegas and would have if the bumpy flight had not made me airsick.

Now my brain is on this book for the discussion.  You don't really want me reading GEE until I am back in focus.

I don't care about the current book I am reading.  I do care that my only group social activity here is a success, which means that book is my priority even though I am not looking forward to reading it.

Is there a CliffsNotes version?

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Just dropping by to say hello and wish good weather vibes to all of the east coasters (and Rob and Mary Linda).
