Happy birthday to BK’s and Elmore’s close personal friend, Stephen Sondheim.

Thursday morning greetings!  It's clear and sunny here today and our upstairs neighbors are on their way home!  Mary Linda texted about half an hour ago that they were about to board a plane.

Good morning from San Francisco!  My flight finally left about an hour and 45 minutes late.  Not too bad.

DR Ginny, did you see that Ron Fetzer died?  He was such a good man and good friend.

I did, DR Elmore.  He was part of the MUM 90th anniversary celebration and was not well then.

I spoke to Annabelle's vet.  I will take her in tomorrow morning for a pre-anesthetic blood draw.  Then I can schedule her dental work after that.

  • Have a REALLY nice day!

Good medical news from DR JANE.

Thanks.

It's funny, to me anyway, I only commented because I was happy not to have to return to have something cut out or butane sprayed, not for the medical reason.

The first time I began having possible skin cancer spots sprayed off I was 32.  It is difficult to guess since then how many spots I have had to remove.  I loved swimming, sports, and simply being out in the sun too much as a child.

I am so happy to see that HHW has a new puppy! We need daily puppy reports for the next year. After that, we need dog reports.

Ditto!

Well, I just got a call from the auto shop and they said that the problems with my temperature gauge were because the thermostat needed to be replaced.  It'll be another couple of hundred bucks, but THAT should fix this problem! ::)

I didn't ask when they called to tell me this, (I will when I pick it up), but I wonder if the temp gauge even needed to be replaced in the first place. :-\ Hopefully, it did and I spent the original $360+ for a good reason.

I did hear some rain throughout the overnight, but HUGE I don't know about and certainly it's barely drizzling right now.

Try asking for a discount since that didn't solve the problem.

DR FJL, I have been trying to solve the problem of how to be in Belview on your original date of June 22nd, which I realize may change.

Keith's cousin is having a Bar Mitzvah in Ann Arbor on June 23rd and we are coordinating a trip to see a whole group of his cousins along with stops to see our boys.

Well, they called to update me and I asked and it turns out that the temp gauge really did need to be replaced anyway.  If they had just known about the thermostat, they would've tested things and found that the temp gauge wasn't working and would've called asking to replace that as well, so it all needed to be done.  And it is being done. :)

  • Commit random acts of kindness and sudden beauty

Well, we were lucky right here — looks like about three inches — whereas Lawn Guyland got killed.  I’m hearing nineteen inches or thereabouts?  And vixmom’s pictures tell the tale.  Plus, the city itself is unreal, man.  We haven’t seen this in a while.
