I wonder if there will be any sparkling surprises with my copy of Gee...

Actually, Vixmom, the title is GEE.  You'll have to read it to find out why...unless you already know.

;D

Nope I am staying away from reviews etc until I read it myself

  • The 1st HHW God!

Where has this day gone?  It was to be a happy day, to be sure.  The grass was going to get cut (and it did get cut), and my new glider was going to be delivered (and it was delivered), and I was going to rearrange some things so that the glider would be in a perfect position (and needless to say but say it I will, It was done).

I fixed my mom and me some spaghetti for supper and surprised her with garlic toast.  All was yummy.  Thanks to NCAA basketball, we watched last night's "Criminal Minds" off the DVR and then watched "Midsomer Murders" on NetFlix.

Tomorrow is another day.  Yes, you read it here.  Friday is another day.  Will it be a catfish and grits day or a shrimp and grits day?  I'm rather hoping for the latter because I have a yen for caramel cake which Juniper's (the shrimp and grits place) always seems to feature as a dessert item.

I hope everyone's Thursday was wonderful, and it's pleasing to realize BK has no need of an ark (yet).

  • My web doesn't need to make sense to anyone else.

I have tomorrow off. So I am enjoying a glass of wine. Or two.

  • Dance, if it makes you happy.

Another 11-hour workday. Oh joy. This will likely go on for several more weeks.

Watched another half-hour of Faces Places. I'm loving this movie. I don't have the patience right now for a full 90 minutes of watching subtitles, so I'm taking it a half-hour at a time. I think it's making me focus more on these incredible works of art and the visuals that fill the film.

Tomorrow I have to leave work early to usher for the symphony. Nadia Salerno-Sonnenberg is playing the Four Seasons and then conducting the rest of the program, which I think includes the Carmen Suite (second time I'll have heard that this season).

Tomorrow’s weather forecast calls for rain, hail, thunder, lightening, and possibly snow.
