Around noon I expect to get most - if not all - of Act One for How to Succeed . . .

Before then I must make the bed, clean the litter, tidy up and get some work in on Me & My Girl.

DR Vixmom, I'm happy that you made it to 96th Street safely and that you found friends at the reading.  I know you were worried about the subway.

Thank you all for the condolences and sympathy.  I will miss Pam enormously.

The summer of 1968, I worked the Miami University summer theatre program before I became a graduate assistant in September.  One day a tall lanky blonde started working in publicity and the box office.  She had just graduated from St Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute IN, married a student in the Miami University architecture program - which was a 5-year program - and the director of theatre offered her an assistantship for the fall.  I liked her enormously.

One of the past summer shows was In White America, and the scene designer Bill Rappel was one of the cast. The In White America photo in the lobby with other previous summer show photos showed every cast member but Bill, and he started bugging Pam about this.  "You'll never get your degree until you hang my photo," he warned her daily.

Then, one afternoon in our first year as grad assistants, we heard a loud scream and a long laugh from the men's room.  It was Bill Rappel.  He had gone into a toilet stall, closed the door, and saw his cast photo taped to the inside of the door with the note: NOW DO I GET MY DEGREE?

At that moment I fell headlong in love with Pam Hollenbeck, who passed away on Friday.  I will love her forever.

The talkback ones were difficult to capture due to tricky exposure and the potential for blurring.  These few are more or less the cream of the crop.  Click to enlarge.

George, was that a year and a half ago, when we met up with Jane and Keith and Sharry and Micheal?

I am trying to find this date but can't do so using my tablet.  I will look later.

After all that food and wine last night, I was shocked to find my blood sugar reading this morning was very good.

Congrats, and be extra good today ;)

Oh well, a few sips of bubbles and water for me 😊

DR TCB, we met at Hawk's Prairie on December 3, 2016.

We drove up that day and met with everyone for lunch.  We had an enjoyable evening watching DR George in The Physician in Spite of Himself.

The following day we met DR George for lunch and then the 3 of us enjoyed the afternoon performance of It's a Wonderful Life with a terrific performance by that guy playing Potter.

Well, Sharry was right (as always).  I can't believe it has been that long ago.
