This is the last day of my trip.  I'm in Las Vegas to celebrate my friend Paul's birthday.  We saw Ricky Martin last night.  He puts on a good show. It's not exactly my type of music, but I enjoyed it.

I'm sorry I missed Grand Hotel.  I never saw the original, but I did see a production in London.  The Encores production sounds like it was great.

The new Blue Bell ice cream flavor seems to have been created with me in mind: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough.

Monday morning greetings!  I'll be E & T during the midday today, attending Ron Fetzer's memorial service with my friend Margie.  He was her stagecraft teacher in high school and was the technical director of the auditorium at the Miami campus here in Middletown.

Please give everyone my condolences and unhappiness at not being there.  Ron was essential in getting me to work with Campus Community Players, and he and Jan were great friends in the 1970s.  If you see Jan, tell her I send my love.

I'll send you an email and then snail mail you the bulletin from the service.  It was very nice - totally planned by Ron himself.

J. Edgar Hoover was a horrible man and a thief.  That statement probably doesn't surprise anyone ;D

And he still couldn’t wrangle an invite to the Black and White Ball.

I should hope not, and by then I don't think it was a secret he was a horrible man.  During WWll when he stole credit from the Coast Guard, Elizebeth Friedman, and all the code breakers there I don't think the word was out yet.

I just blew off having a meeting with my director friend this evening.  It's always a dinner meeting, always enjoyable, but the past several days have been beyond my normal range of crazy and I need an evening off.  We'll do it next week.

Probably sit back on my bloomin' arse and watch something enjoyable.  Maybe one of the Twilight Times that came today:  Underworld U.S.A. or The Seven-Ups.

I don’t wanna go to work today. But I gotta.

Don't you hate it when that happens?

My doctor was happy with my test results so I'm happy.

Congrats, Larry!

I am up a little early because I made an appointment at the car place where I will get the following done:

Emissions test
Oil change
Tire change -- from snow tires to regular

Yes, folks, I am the one calling the shots on the change of seasons this week.  When I remove my snow tires, it is OVER.

When is the legal date?  We learned not to wait until then or the lines at the tire shop were very long.

I've never had snow tires.  Granted, where I've lived for the last 40 years is pretty much mostly flat, so it's not really much of an issue, but even while living in Bellingham, I never felt the need to get them.  And I didn't wand the added expense...or have to store them during the rest of the year. :D

Annabelle's blood tests were good, too, so she's seeing the dentist on April 10.

DR George did you respond to my question regarding Deception?  If so I can't find the answer.  Shall we go ahead and watch beginning with the 3rd show or wait until we can catch the first two episodes before watching?

I'm not watching that show, so I don't know if you can jump in.  I think Tom was the one who mentioned it.

Tonight I shall watch The Resident and The Good Doctor - I sort of like both of them, although I look away during some of the surgery scenes.

I spent almost two hours at the T-Mobile store again today, after another two hours a week or so ago, trying to get my phone straightened out. I don't know what caused the problem in the first place, but I think it's fixed now. I certainly hope so. The people there really were trying their best. It was never one of my ambitions to become an iPhone expert, but it would behoove me to learn more about them.
