It’s nice having a personal Chinese chef.

Back from an egg salad sandwich and picking up no packages.

What bread do you like with your egg salad sandwich?

Mostly the money that I wash is metal money.

;D  I have done that as well.

I am pretty good about checking my pockets but sometimes I miss something.  This time is was $16 I remembered about after I found a Kleenex had been laundered.  Since I know they were not in the same pocket I apparently missed more than I realized.  Kleenex is tricky though, it feels like the fabric of the pants.

I often have a little money in my pants, just in case my walk takes me past Savona's, the coffee shop I often walk to.  Once the owner let me owe her for my purchase.

My visit to the dentist was short. The crown work will take hours.

Sorry your dentist could not get the temporary crown in while you were there.  Why will it take hours?

While I was sitting in the chair trying to catch up on the sleep I lost last night, I heard a woman in the next room talking on and on. I recognized the voice. That sounds like Bev, I said, even though I haven’t seen her or her husband in at least 10 years.

Sure enough, when I got ready to leave, there was her husband Bob in the waiting room.

Leslie Odom Jr. was on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" last night (it's actually still on right now).  I had paused the broadcast, so I'm just now getting to his segment.

How was it?

He has been on a book tour with the last stop in LA, where he lives, on April 2nd.  Our friend said he might be going to Seattle or Portland but I can't find anything about this.

Oh, and yesterday our friend called us from his Alexa on our Alexa.  I could actually hear better than when we talk on the phone.  It was fun, and Keith and I could be in the same room talking.

It sounds delicious.  Finding good egg bread for sandwiches is inconvenient here.  We get good challah for making french toast but I don't like it as much for sandwiches.  I have to go to Portland on a Friday to find the kind I like for sandwiches.

I made myself get into the habit of checking my pockets.  I regularly use a couple of USB flash drives and a couple of times I almost washed them! :o THAT scared me into getting into the habit of checking every time.

I rarely miss more than Kleenex, as I said due to the fact I can't always feel it.

For me not to check an entire pocket is shocking.  It is possible I only missed half a pocket.  These are my tactical quick dry pants I purchased for Africa.  I love them for comfort, ease of carrying my phone in a separate front pocket, and all the other pockets I can carry stuff in.

They have:
Two back pockets
Two traditional front pockets
Two little front pockets which are just the right size for my small iPhone
Two big pockets in the front.  These pockets have a divider which halves the pockets.

The back pockets also have Velcro.  The regular front pockets are also nice and deep.

Yikes!  At least you ran out of paper when your main copier broke down.  That's convenient.

Thanks for the link.  I am enjoying it, got teary eyed when he mentioned the baby's name.  I knew she was named for her great-grandmother, someone who was dear to us.  Just hearing him say her name was sweet.
