For those who've read the notes (you know who you are), the dangling carrot I spoke of about nine days ago had to do with the eBay thing. Someone sent me a private message on eBay asking if I would entertain a cash offer outside of eBay and he gave me his phone number in a way that got through the eBay security (can't leave phone numbers or real e-mail addresses). So, I wrote him back and told him sure and that I'd call him. I did and this jerk never got back to me - I left a subsequent message as well as two private messages via Facebook. Why would someone be such a creep? It baffles me truly.

I never had time to do what I wanted as the gift with this book, which was to record a CD. So, I think I'll do what I did with Thrill Ride, but it's more interesting with this book - I'll send a signed page from the manuscript with lots of hand-written notes - I did so much futzing with this book that they're pretty interesting.

I've had the Blu-ray to King of Jazz in my Amazon wishlist since it was first announced, waiting to see if it would go on sale on Criterion's website, but Amazon has it for less, so I'll get it from there.

I have been watching some videos of a wrestler from Britain named Charlie Garrett or sometimes Charlie Sterling whose gimmick is that he gets his trunks pulled down below his butt cheeks and spends most of the rest of the match that way.....it is most entertaining....if you are entertained by such a thing.

We certainly don't get anything that exciting here in the US - wrestling wise.....
