Was the talk about the "making Viva Max" documentary interesting? or is that after the movie?
Quote from: FJL on April 07, 2018, 06:28:50 PMWas the talk about the "making Viva Max" documentary interesting? or is that after the movie? It was very good, and it was before the movie. I don’t know what the documentary will be like. It’s become a personal story of the director, rather than being strictly about Viva Max. He had some anecdotes that were interesting. The Daughters of the Republic of Texas tried to take the movie makers to court to prevent them from filming. According to an audiotape of the proceedings, they compared the film to the Vietcong. In short, they were real-life versions of the Alice Ghostley character.
It’s going to be back in the 70s tomorrow. Can’t wait.
