Their special today was a three scoop sundae with two toppings, whipped cream and a cherry served in a waffle bowl

The Dain Curse is proving to be really good.

Where are you watching it from?  We don't see it on Netflix.

Library. Great cast. James Coburn, Jean Simmons, Macauley McCourt, Hector Elizondo, Jason Miller, Beatrice Straight.

Just finished my taxes. Turbo Tax was a major league irritation this year. They kept saying on my freelance writing that if I didn't have a business name, I could leave the line blank but it wouldn't let me file without typing something. After 20 different repeats of the same, I finally type Blank into the blank.

After church, I spoke to Mom. Dad has been sleeping most of the time lately and isn't interested in doing much. They got another inch of snow yesterday, but it thankfully has melted. Still, she seems content not to go anywhere.

Vibes and prayers for your family, John

Vibes from here, too.

Oh, my goodness!  I can barely keep my eyes open.  Today, my friend Margo and I are going to see Ready Player One in IMAX 3D.  It got a 74% on Rotten Tomatoes...not bad.  We'll meet for lunch then go to the movie.  After that, I've got a couple of hours before I meet my friend Christine for dinner before tonight's rehearsal for Cinder Edna.  Christine is also in the show, so that'll be fun. :)

We saw Ready Player One in IMAX 3D and both really liked it.

The special effects were very good, and we both thought that it had a good script.  Margo didn't realize that Stephen Spielberg directed it.

I haven't read the book, but I just placed a hold on OverDrive for the Kindle version.  I'm number 100 on 10 copies. :o

Afterward, I came home for a bit before meeting my friend and co-Cinder Edna actor Christine for dinner at a new place downtown called Well 80.  I had the Impossible Drive-In Burger:  "Zero meat, 100% all-natural plant-based Burger, and you won’t know the difference (thanks, science!)"  It was REALLY good.

I also had the salad, which I didn't realize cost extra.  It turns out that you can "Add Fries, Tots, House Salad, or Soup to any Burger or Sandwich" for an extra $2.00.  The salad was just some greens, literally three walnut halves, and dressing (which they got wrong).  I asked for ranch and the sent something else.  At least it was on the side.  But definitely not worth it.

Another co-Cinder Edna actor showed up later and she had the beef burger and really liked it, too.  She had (and shared) the tater tots, and they were very good, too.

Even though the salad wasn't worth it, I'll definitely be going back to try the beef burger, or maybe even get the non-meat burger again. :D

And the server wasn't as attentive as he could've been.  Christine said that she'd read on Yelp that their servers were hit and miss...of course, they only opened a couple of weeks ago, so that could've been part of the problem.  We'll see when I go back.
